UnitingCare was undergoing an outsource project for their IT department. I was contracted to document the current state integration of Payroll and Finance. My contract was extended to assist with Payroll for various projects include Single Touch Payroll (STP).

A project initiative was introduced by Payroll Portfolio to help improve payroll processing by leveraging from new technology and enhancements developed from the current suite of applications. SAP has introduced a new Fiori interface and Queensland Health will leverage this platform to covert paper based processed into electronic based processes.

The scope of CIMIC Payroll and HR Outsourcing Project is to consolidate and streamline Payroll and HR processes across CPB Contractors, CIMIC and Thiess for over 12,000 employees. Legacy systems including Empower, Aurion, Workday, Chris21 and JDE were required to be migrated to PageUp, Oracle EBS and Preceda.

The Airport Link (4.8 billion dollar project) role involved providing consultancy and technical knowledge for configuration, analysis, testing, training and maintenance of two systems, Lotus Notes and Incite while managing stakeholders for an end-to end support model. Working with these systems gave invaluable insight into how complex processes functions on projects.

EIC Activities is CIMIC Group’s engineering business. It provides specialist design, technical support, research and technology for Group projects and enhances the Group’s ability to mitigate and manage risk. EIC Activities delivers solutions, capability and innovation in the disciplines of infrastructure, industrial, building and specialist design for projects tendered and delivered by the Group. Pacific Partnerships develops and invests in infrastructure projects built by CIMIC’s operating companies and is a long-term partner to clients through the provision of operation and maintenance services throughout the life of the asset. Pacific Partnerships invests in PPPs and Build Operate Transfer projects.

John Holland had a joint venture with Thiess on the Airportlink Project in Brisbane Australia

The Airportlink is a multi-billion dollar project in Brisbane.

This short subcontract was to provide process improvement and create Functional Specifications for GPC to help assist in there JDE’s outsource support process.

BPM IT Sub-contracted to exclaim IT on the HR and Payroll Outsourcing Project.

This role was to support the Document Management System across 70+ projects ranging from level 1 support to modifying and configuring the application for projects. Valuable experience was gain from moving from low tier to a high tier company show how an efficient company operates and how systems operate across multiple projects and locations.
